Just a quick tip... If you click your volume icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop, and then click "Mixer," you can push the scroll bar over until you see "Plugin Controller for Firefox" and mute that while listening to your own music in itunes, winamp, windows media, etc!
But yes, I totally know what you mean. I was just playing something interesting today and I knocked off a few points in my vote because there was no mute and the music was obnoxious!
